Service Description

Cost and Licensing
Software Services manages licensing on university-wide applications to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and access. Pricing is dependent on our agreements with various vendors, though most products should enjoy some measure of improved pricing over retail. If you discover a product with better pricing elsewhere, please submit a ticket with the appropriate information so that we can investigate alternate options.
EIT Procurement
State and federal laws require that technology and software purchases comply with accessibility and security guidelines. Compliance ensures that all of our campus community members are able to work or pursue their education without physical constraints. Our EIT Procurement service documents and expedites this review process. This process cannot guarantee 100% compliance with all needs or concerns, but we will make every effort to achieve compliance or alternatively, accommodation.

We do our best to respond to requests within 2-3 business days.
Availability
We expect 247 availability for our self-service software library.
Licensing
The majority of university supported software is licensed on an annual basis. The licensing duration is generally included with the software installer package.
