Clearing your browser's cache and cookies is the first step that we recommend in resolving any browser based issues you may have.

About Cache and Cookies

Cache is used as temporary storage for web documents such as pages, images, and other media files, to reduce loading times. Cookies are often used to store user data about you. In some cases, old data that is stored as cache or cookies may cause issues with viewing pages that are constantly updated.

Clearing Cache and Cookies

Instructions for clearing cache and cookies for each browser are below. Be sure to close all browser windows, or quit the browser on Mac OS X. You can usually determine the browser version by going to the Help menu (Windows) and selecting "About..." Or by clicking on the application menu and clicking on "About..." (Mac)


Google Chrome

  1. Click on the icon with three lines in the upper right
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Click on Show Advanced Settings
  4. Click on Clear Browsing Data (Alternatively, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete)
  5. Check "Empty the Cache" and "Delete cookies and other site and plugin data"
  6. Change the timeframe in "Obliterate the following items from" to "The beginning of time"
  7. Click on Clear browsing data
  8. Be sure to close all browser windows

Microsoft Edge

  1. In the top right, click the Hub icon (looks like three horizontal lines).
  2. Click the History icon, and then select Clear all history.
  3. Select Browsing history, then Cookies and saved website data, and then Cached data and files. Click Clear.
  4. After the "All Clear!" message appears, exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

Internet Explorer 11

  1. Click on Tools (The gear icon in the upper right)
  2. Hover over Safety and click "Delete Browsing History..." (Alternatively press Ctrl + Shift + Delete)
  3. Uncheck "Preserve Favorites website data"
  4. Check the boxes for "Temporary Internet files and website files" and "Cookies and website data"
  5. Click "Delete"
  6. Be sure to close all browser windows

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the Firefox menu in the upper left
  2. Hover over History
  3. Click on Clear Recent History
  4. Expand Details
  5. Check "Cookies", "Active Logins" and "Cache"
  6. Change "Time range to clear" to Everything
  7. Click on Clear Now
  8. Be sure to close all browser windows

Safari (Mac)

  1. Click on the Safari menu
  2. Click on Preferences
  3. Click on the Privacy tab
  4. Click on "Manage Website Data" and then "Remove All"
  5. Click "Remove Now"
  6. Click "Done" and be sure to close Safari

Safari (iOS)

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap Safari
  3. Tap Clear Cookies and Data
  4. Tap Clear Cookies and Data
